Students from the Amansie West and Amansie South districts have received support from the Asanko Scholarship Programme, benefiting 31 students this year. The initiative, now in its second year, includes 15 newly selected students and continues support for 16 previous beneficiaries. Each student receives up to GH₵10,000, covering tuition, accommodation, and other academic expenses. This program is part of Asanko Gold Ghana's five-year Social and Economic Development Plan, aimed at enhancing education and community development. One beneficiary, Millicent Frimpong, shared how financial challenges almost halted her studies, highlighting the importance of this support for her and her family.
