Akrofuom MP Joseph Azumah has donated medical equipment worth GH¢200,000 to the Adansi Akrofuom Health Centre, describing the state of health facilities in the constituency as "very worrying."
The donation, drawn from his 2025 MP’s Health Funds, fulfills a campaign pledge he made during the 2024 elections.
Handing over the equipment, Azumah said the support is aimed at boosting healthcare delivery for residents. He expressed concern about inadequate logistics and infrastructure in local health centers, which he says hampers quality care.
He pledged continued support to improve health services in the constituency and called for more government investment in rural health facilities.
Health officials at the center welcomed the donation, saying it will ease pressure and improve patient care.
