Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Alhaji Dr Yusif Sulemana, has charged students of the Damongo Agric College to take their studies seriously, noting that almost every leader today started just like them.
Hon. Sulemana made the call when he joined the school’s Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) community for its handing over and welcoming of freshers ceremony on Friday.
According to the MP, it was a great experience interacting with the students and sharing his journey with them.
"It was a great experience yesterday at the Damongo Agric College when I joined the school's TEIN community on the occasion of its handing over and welcoming of freshers ceremony. I used the opportunity to encourage students gathered on the need for them to take seriously their studies - because almost every leader today started just like them," he said.
As part of his support to the group, Hon. Sulemana, on behalf of the Savannah Region NDC MP Caucus, donated a cash amount of GH¢20,000 to the TEIN leadership of the school to support its activities.
The event brought together students, TEIN executives and party faithful in the Savannah Region.
