Daniel Acquaye Leads Agri-Impact Delegation to Ghana-UK Investment Summit

Dr. Daniel Fahene Acquaye, CEO of Agri-Impact Limited and Chairman of the CSIR–Crop Research Institute, is leading a delegation to the Ghana-UK Investment Summit set for June 1-2, 2026, in London. The summit will feature a high-level panel discussion where Dr. Acquaye will advocate for Ghana as a prime destination for agribusiness investment, emphasizing the potential for international investors in Africa's agricultural transformation. Notable attendees include President John Dramani Mahama and Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, among others. In addition to the summit, Dr. Acquaye plans to engage with investors and development partners to explore opportunities within Ghana's agribusiness value chains. He has also initiated discussions with the SEPT Competence Centre at Leipzig University regarding potential collaborations in agritech and capacity building for agrifirms in Ghana and Africa. The Ghana-UK Investment Summit aims to foster economic cooperation and investment opportunities between Ghana and the UK, bringing together government officials, investors, policymakers, and members of the Ghanaian diaspora.
