The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Alhaji Dr. Yusif Sulemana, has donated GH₵10,000 to support the activities of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) at the Bole Nurses and Midwifery Training College.
Hon. Dr. Sulemana made the donation when he joined the TEIN family for its swearing-in ceremony for new executives and welcoming of freshers.
Describing the occasion as nostalgic, the MP said it brought back fond memories of his own days in student politics and his journey with the party.
Addressing the students, he urged them to take their academic work seriously, noting that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has a track record of rewarding TEIN comrades who demonstrate academic competence and party loyalty.
To motivate the students, he cited several past TEIN members and leaders who today occupy various positions in government, saying their rise is proof that dedication to both academics and party work pays off.
Hon. Dr. Sulemana further pledged his unflinching support to the new leadership and the TEIN family going into the future, assuring them that he would continue to stand by them in their activities.
The ceremony brought together students, party executives, and well-wishers who welcomed the freshers and celebrated the newly sworn-in executives.
