KLM Flight KL590 Makes Emergency Return to Kotoka Airport After Fire Scare

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Flight KL590 from Accra to Amsterdam made an emergency return to Kotoka International Airport Thursday night following a reported onboard fire scare.
The aircraft departed Accra at 22:08 GMT but was diverted back approximately 45 minutes into the journey as a precautionary measure.
The flight landed safely at Kotoka International Airport, and all passengers and crew disembarked after the aircraft was brought back to the terminal.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire scare is yet to be confirmed by KLM or aviation authorities.
