President John Dramani Mahama has restated government’s commitment to working closely with the private sector to drive Ghana’s economic transformation.
A statement from the Presidency said the President made the remarks while addressing business leaders, investors, and policymakers at the 10th Ghana CEO Summit in Accra.
President Mahama emphasized that real economic transformation must improve the daily lives of Ghanaians, not just show up in economic data. He assured the business community of government’s resolve to create an environment that supports business growth and job creation.
“When businesses thrive, government succeeds and the nation prospers,” the President said, highlighting the need for stronger public-private partnerships to advance national development.
At the summit, President Mahama was named Patron of the Ghana CEO Summit for his commitment to deepening government and private sector collaboration.
Also present were Presidential Advisor and Aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari; Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Minister Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare; Founder and CEO of the Chief Executives Network Ernest De-Graft Egyir; Bank of Ghana Governor Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama; Telecel Ghana CEO Patricia Obo-Nai; along with other top business leaders and policymakers.
