Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Hon. Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has presented the final batch of scholarships under his scholarship scheme, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to over 200 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Presenting the support yesterday, the MP said the initiative is driven by his personal understanding of the struggles students face in paying school fees.
"I know what it means to struggle to pay school fees. I know how painful it can be when a student's dreams are threatened simply because of financial difficulties. That is why this initiative means so much to me," he said.
The ceremony was attended by the Kumasi Metro Education Director, students, parents and guardians.
Hon. Baffour Awuah emphasized that no promising student should have to abandon their education due to financial challenges, reiterating his commitment to supporting education in the constituency.
