Medeama SC President Moses Armah Parker has announced that the club will host its CAF Champions League matches at the TNA Stadium after winning the Ghana Premier League. This victory secures their spot in Africa's premier club competition, marking a significant achievement in the club's history. During the coronation ceremony, Armah Parker expressed gratitude to the supporters for their contributions to the title-winning season and highlighted the significance of bringing continental football to Tarkwa. He stated, "For the first time, we are bringing Champions League football to Tarkwa. This edifice is the best from GoldFields. It’s FIFA standard and will host CAF Champions League football." The president also set ambitious goals for the upcoming campaign, aiming for the group stage and expressing a desire to surpass previous performances. Medeama's recent triumph, a 5-2 victory over Heart of Lions, marks their second Ghana Premier League title. This upcoming campaign will be the second time Medeama represents Ghana in continental football, as they strive to improve on their past CAF Champions League experience.
