NPP CLOSES NOMINATIONS FOR 2026 NATIONAL OFFICERS ELECTIONS, 50 FORMS PICKED – FILING BEGINS AUGUST 23

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially closed the purchase of nomination forms for its *2026 National Officers Elections*.

In a press statement signed on *Saturday, August 22, 2026*, by the Chairman of the National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC), *Frederick Opare-Ansah*, the Committee announced that the nomination period ends today.

According to NOEC, the exercise has been successful and peaceful, with a total of *50 nomination forms purchased across nine positions*.
