Member of Parliament for Offinso North, Hon. Fred Kyei Asamoah, has disbursed financial assistance to 200 tertiary students from his constituency under his flagship educational initiative, the ANIDASO Students’ Assistantship Programme (ASAP).
In a statement announcing the support, the MP said the initiative was designed to ease the financial burden on students, support brilliant but needy students, and ensure that the cost of education does not stand in the way of academic excellence.
According to Hon. Asamoah, the gesture is part of his renewed commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and creating opportunities for young people in Offinso North to achieve their full potential.
"For me, education remains one of the most powerful tools for empowerment, opportunity and community development. Every student we support today is a future professional, entrepreneur or leader who will help build Offinso North and Ghana," he stated.
The MP stressed that ASAP is not a one-off gesture, assuring constituents that he will continue to invest in the youth because their success is tied to the development of Offinso North and Ghana.
He congratulated all beneficiaries and urged them to use the support wisely, remain disciplined and give their best in their studies.
"Together, let us build a brighter future through education," he added.
