Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira MP To Organize 2-Day Training In Palm Oil Processing And Value Addition

Member of Parliament for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency, Hon. Lawrence Agyinsam, is organizing a 2-day training programme in Palm Oil Processing and Value Addition for farmers and entrepreneurs in his constituency.
The training is being organized in collaboration with the CSIR – Oil Palm Research Institute (OPRI) and the World University Service of Canada (WUSC-Ghana).
According to Hon. Agyinsam, the initiative seeks to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in palm oil processing, value addition and opportunities within the palm oil value chain.
"Through this training, I seek to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in palm oil processing, value addition, and opportunities within the palm oil value chain. My goal is to empower farmers, processors, entrepreneurs, and other interested individuals to improve their skills, create sustainable livelihoods, and maximize the value of palm oil products," he stated.
The training is scheduled as follows:
*Date:* Tuesday, 6th & Wednesday, 7th October 2026
*Venue:* Amenpkro (Methodist Church)
*Time:* 8:00 AM
The MP has therefore invited all interested farmers, processors and youth in the constituency to participate.
"Together, let us learn, build skills, add value, and create opportunities," Hon. Agyinsam added.
