UK-based Ghanaian urges Mahama to ensure ministers engage more with constituents

He emphasized the importance of ministers dedicating weekends to interact with the communities they serve, rather than participating in parties. While acknowledging some positive economic indicators presented by government officials, he noted that public perception remains a significant issue. Sawyerr also highlighted the ongoing flooding problems in Accra, calling for more attention from government officials to address this persistent challenge. His comments were made during a session where members of the Ghanaian diaspora shared their concerns and suggestions for governance and development. The town hall meeting, organized by the Ghana High Commission in the UK, provided an opportunity for the community to engage directly with the President.
