Bole-Bamboi MP and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, yesterday hosted a delegation of Bole youth based in Kumasi who called on him at his office.
The group described the visit as historic, saying they came to congratulate the MP on his appointment as Deputy Minister and to express gratitude for his intervention in securing a Hajj slot for this year’s pilgrimage.
According to the delegation, Hon. Sulemana also considered their request to be included in ongoing job opportunities, including the current security services recruitment exercise.
They thanked him for honouring their appeal and for visiting them in Kumasi after the 2024 general elections to appreciate their decision to travel home to vote in Bole.
The Kumasi-based constituents used the courtesy call to pledge their unflinching support for the MP and urged him to contest the 2028 parliamentary elections “without hesitation.”
“Hon, you have our full support,” they told him.
The group also offered prayers for God’s guidance and protection upon the life of Hon. Sulemana in his service to Gonjaland and mother Ghana.
In his remarks, Hon. Yusif Sulemana thanked the youth for their sacrifices before, during, and after the 2024 elections, and acknowledged their prayers and votes.
He asked them to extend appreciation to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, noting that “without him he couldn't have met their requests.” He urged them to continue praying for him.
The Bole-Bamboi MP also briefed the delegation on ongoing developmental projects in the constituency and encouraged them to take keen interest in the development of the area.
