A Consultant Neurologist at The Trust Hospital, Prof. Matthew Kyei, has revealed that about 10 percent of men are dissatisfied with the size of their manhood and often seek medical attention to enlarge it.
His comment follows the death of 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer, Igho Ubiribo, who died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a holiday in Thailand with his wife.
According to Prof. Kyei, hospitals do intervene to help with enlargement procedures, especially in cases where concerns are linked to infections or other medical conditions that can be managed through treatment.
Speaking on "Nyankonton Mu Nsem," he advised that men who undergo penis enlargement should have regular medical check-ups every six months to one year for ongoing care.
On complications, he said such procedures can, in rare cases, lead to death. While he stressed that fatalities are uncommon, he warned that they can still occur.
