Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Hon. Rev. Kwaku Addo, says ongoing projects in roads, education, health and community development show he is “keeping promises” to constituents.
Rev. Addo expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, for the nationwide 10km road project being rolled out in every constituency. He confirmed that work has already started around Ebenezer Senior High School under the initiative, a move he says will improve road connectivity and ease transport challenges in the area.
Before the national intervention, the MP said his office had begun constructing pavement alleys across various electoral areas in Ablekuma West to support local road infrastructure. He added that significant investments have also been made in schools and health facilities, with educational support and healthcare assistance still being extended to constituents in need.
On traffic management, Rev. Addo noted that the traffic lights at Dansoman Mama’s Inn have been restored, and plans are underway to repair other faulty traffic lights across the constituency. To tackle flooding, he said consistent dredging and desilting exercises are ongoing in flood-prone communities to improve drainage and protect lives and property.
“Development is a continuous process, and I remain focused on working with all stakeholders to ensure that Ablekuma West receives its fair share of national development,” Rev. Addo said. “Together, we are building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Ablekuma West.”
The update from the MP comes as government pushes infrastructure and social interventions across constituencies, with the 24-Hour Economy Programme and health sector reforms also dominating national discussions this week.
