Some streets in the Akim Oda Constituency remain in darkness due to faulty and non-functional streetlights, a situation that is posing security risks, increasing the risk of accidents and affecting nighttime economic activities.
In response, the Member of Parliament for Akim Oda, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has announced plans to lead a project to repair and replace damaged streetlights across the constituency.
According to the MP, the initiative is aimed at improving visibility, enhancing safety, and supporting local businesses, especially those operating at night.
The project, dubbed *"Brightening Akim Oda Constituency Project,"* is coming soon, the MP announced.
Hon. Acquah said the intervention will make Akim Oda brighter and safer for everyone.
The project is being undertaken by the office of Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, MP for Akim Oda Constituency.
