Bole-Bamboi MP and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon. Yusif Sulemana has secured funding for a six-unit classroom block and three mechanized boreholes through the Minerals Development Fund, targeting education and clean water gaps in the constituency.
Project sites were officially handed over on Monday, June 2, 2026, during a brief ceremony attended by MDF officials. The Fund’s representatives praised Hon. Sulemana for his persistence in lobbying for the interventions and urged residents to support contractors to ensure smooth delivery.
Joining the event virtually, Hon. Sulemana thanked President John Dramani Mahama for his leadership and support in advancing the projects. He also commended the MDF leadership for responding quickly to the constituency’s development needs.
Under the plan, Wasipe will get a six-unit classroom block to improve teaching and learning conditions. For water access, Maluwe is slated for two mechanized boreholes while Wakawaka will receive one.
The Bole District Chief Executive called on the project team to maintain high standards and complete the works on schedule. He pledged the District Assembly’s full cooperation throughout implementation.
The projects are expected to boost school outcomes and expand access to potable water, aligning with broader efforts to accelerate development in Bole-Bamboi.
