Court Rejects Stay of Proceedings in Adu Boahene Cybersecurity Case

The High Court has refused an application to halt proceedings in the case of The Republic v Kwabena Adu-Boahene and two others.
Counsel for the accused, Lawyer Samuel Atta Akyea, was present in court and prayed the court to stay proceedings pending the outcome of a review application filed by Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in relation to the injunction decision delivered last Friday by the Supreme Court.
The court rejected the prayer.
The court also refused a further application by counsel for an adjournment.
Following the rulings, counsel has commenced cross-examination of the 4th and final prosecution witness in the cybersecurity software case.
The trial is ongoing.
