Dr Yusif Sulemana Donates Over 1,000 Bags Of Fertilizer To Yagbonwura On Behalf Of President Mahama

The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, *Hon. Alhaji Dr. Yusif Sulemana*, on Friday, 15th August 2026, donated over *1,000 bags of fertilizer* to *His Royal Majesty the Yagbonwura* on behalf of *President H.E. John Dramani Mahama*.

The donation forms part of government’s efforts to support farmers, boost agricultural productivity, and strengthen food security in the Savannah Region.

Speaking during the presentation, Dr. Sulemana said the gesture reflects President Mahama’s commitment to empowering hardworking farmers and ensuring agricultural growth across the country.

“_This gesture demonstrates the President’s commitment to supporting agriculture, empowering our hardworking farmers, and contributing to food security,_” he stated.

*His Royal Majesty the Yagbonwura*, Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, expressed profound appreciation to the President and to Dr. Sulemana for the continued support to the palace and the people of Gonja.

In a related gesture, Dr. Sulemana also donated *80 bags of fertilizer* to his constituents resident in *Damongo* to directly support farming activities in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.

The MP reaffirmed his commitment to working with government and traditional authorities to drive agricultural development and improve livelihoods in the Savannah Region.
