The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda Constituency, *Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah*, has initiated a comprehensive road safety campaign aimed at promoting responsible road use and reducing accidents in the constituency.
This follows a fruitful engagement the MP recently held with *motorcycle riders and operators in Akyem Oda*, where they discussed ways to enhance road safety within their communities.
According to Hon. Acquah, the engagement revealed the need for greater awareness among riders, operators and other road users on safer practices.
"Following our engagement, my office has initiated a comprehensive road safety campaign aimed at promoting safer riding practices, responsible road use and greater awareness among motorcycle riders, operators and other road users across the Akyem Oda Constituency," he stated.
He described the campaign as a new initiative under his office, geared towards making roads in Akim Oda safer for all.
"This is my new initiative and together, we can make our roads safer for everyone. Watch out for the initiative. See you very soon!" the MP added.
The upcoming campaign is expected to involve sensitization exercises, community outreaches and collaborations with road safety stakeholders to instill discipline and safety consciousness among motor riders, who form a major part of local transportation in Akyem Oda.
