Kumawu MP Introduces New NPP Executives To Kumawumanhene During 5th Akwasidae

Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has introduced the newly elected NPP Kumawu Constituency Executives to the Kumawumanhene, Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua.

The introduction took place earlier today during the 5th Akwasidae celebration of 2026 at the palace.

Hon. Anim said the visit was also an opportunity to brief Barima on the successful internal elections conducted by the Party this year.

According to him, both the polling station and electoral area elections were held peacefully and successfully across the constituency.

The MP described the engagement with Nananom as significant, saying it reaffirms the Party’s commitment to unity, respect for tradition and culture, and its continued partnership with traditional leadership.

“This moment with Nananom reaffirms our commitment to unity, respect for our tradition and rich culture, and our Party’s continued partnership with traditional leadership in advancing the development and progress of Kumawuman,” he said.

The Akwasidae gathering brought together chiefs, elders and party faithful to mark the occasion.
