Former Vice President of Ghana and NPP 2024 Running Mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has described Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as a generational thinker, liberation icon and key architect of Ghana's nation-building.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh said Nkrumah's monumental legacy transcended generations and deserved recognition beyond partisan political differences.
He acknowledged that Ghanaians would continue to disagree over governance, economic policies and the pace of development, describing such disagreements as part of democracy.
However, he said there were individuals whose contributions to Ghana were so foundational that they should be respected above partisan political divisions.
