Salomey Awiti Baffoe has been granted bail in the sum of GH¢100,000 with two sureties.
According to her lawyer, Baffour Awuah, speaking to journalists outside the court, the two sureties are required to be civil servants earning not less than GH¢3,000 per month.
Barrister Awuah said processes leading to the consummation of the bail have been triggered and expressed hope that it will be finalized soon to enable his client to reunite with her children and family in Techiman.
"She was granted bail in the sum of 100,000 cedis with two sureties and the sureties should be civil servants who earn not less than 3,000 cedis, so she's been granted bail.
The processes leading to the consummation of the bail has been triggered, we hope to finalize it and then she can be totally free to reunite with her children and family," he stated.
