The New Force Denies Any Link To ‘The Base Movement

The New Force has distanced itself from any association with a group known as The Base Movement.

In a statement dated 20th July 2026, the movement said neither it nor its Founder and Leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, has any affiliation, partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or formal relationship with The Base Movement.

The clarification comes after recent public commentary and inquiries created what the group called a “false impression of a connection” between the two entities.

“The New Force states unequivocally that any claims, publications, or activities suggesting such an association are inaccurate and must be disregarded,” the statement said.

The New Force noted that since its inception it has operated independently with a mission to champion a “united, prosperous, and transformational Ghana” through principled leadership, innovation, integrity, and citizen empowerment.

It added that all official communication from the movement is issued only through its sanctioned platforms.

The group urged the public, supporters, stakeholders and the media to rely exclusively on its official channels for verified information, stressing that any suggestion of a link with The Base Movement is “unfounded.”

The statement concluded by reaffirming The New Force’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and transformational leadership aimed at inspiring hope for a better Ghana.
