Walewale MP Commissions 3-Unit Classroom Block At Janga To End 9-Year Multigrade Teaching

Member of Parliament for Walewale Constituency, Hon. Dr. Abdul Kabiru Tiah Mahama, has commissioned a 3-unit classroom block at Janga to address the multigrade teaching system endured by pupils for over nine years.

The MP commissioned the facility on Tuesday, describing the situation where students of different classes were compelled to learn in the same classroom as unacceptable.

Hon. Dr. Mahama acknowledged the numerous challenges facing central government but said it was unacceptable for students to endure such conditions for that long.

He said it was an honour to help address the problem, while admitting that the challenges in the education sector are more than what such interventions can fully resolve.

The project is part of the MP's initiative of #PrioritisingThePeople, aimed at improving access to quality education and infrastructure in the constituency.
